About these terms

By using the site or submitting an enquiry, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this website does

We connect people who need tree work with independent contractors who cover their area. We do not fell, remove, grind or prune trees, we do not hold an arborist registration, and we do not carry out the work. When a contractor contacts you, any quote, agreement, payment and warranty is between you and that contractor.

We are not an agent of the contractor or of you, and we are not a party to the agreement for the work. We are not responsible for the contractor's work, advice, prices, timing, conduct, insurance or compliance with laws and by-laws.

What we try to do

We aim to pass your enquiry to a contractor who covers your suburb and does the type of work you describe. We cannot promise that a contractor will be available, will contact you within a particular time, or will agree to do the work. If we cannot find a suitable contractor, we will try to tell you.

Your responsibilities

Give accurate information in your enquiry and only submit details that are yours or that you are entitled to share. Before you accept a quote, check the contractor's insurance and the scope of the quote, and confirm who is responsible for safety on site and for any damage. Make sure work that needs approval, for example from a municipality for a protected tree, or from an estate, a body corporate or a neighbour who shares a boundary, is approved before it starts.

Information on this website

Our guides and service pages are general information, written in good faith for Pretoria homes, complexes and businesses. They are not legal advice and not professional arboricultural advice for your specific tree, and conditions vary from site to site. Do not rely on them instead of an inspection by a contractor, the municipality's ruling on a protected tree, or your own insurer's policy wording.

We do not publish prices. Any example or factor we describe is not a quote.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the work, advice or conduct of a contractor, from your reliance on general information on this site, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be limited.

Using the website properly

Do not use the site or the enquiry form to send spam, false enquiries, other people's details without their permission, or anything unlawful or harmful. Do not try to break or overload the site, its security check or the enquiry endpoint. We may block enquiries that appear automated or abusive, and we may decline to pass on any enquiry.

The content on this site belongs to us or is used with permission. You may read it and share links to it, but you may not copy it in bulk or republish it as your own.

Complaints

Complaints about the work should go to the contractor, because the agreement for the work is between you and them.

Privacy

We handle personal information as set out in our privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
